Finances of the Coorg coffee planters

Robesta - each plant takes 9*9 sq.ft.(thus, 486 plants/acre)
Arabica - 10*10 sq.ft.(450 plants/acre)

Maintenance:
kapaath/Pruning(twice per year) - 486*4/-=>Rs.1944*2
chiguru/Manure(twice again) - 243kgs = 5bags@400/bag=>Rs.2500*2 - in May/October
Cleaning(2 rounds) - Rs.486*2
Labour - Rs.600
Kachada/Weeding - Rs.486*2 -July/October
Erathey - Rs.3/plant = Rs.1458
others(including sprinkler costs) -4000+750+7035
Total:Rs.23703

Output:
1 acre - 30 bags of coffee beans (robesta)
1 kg - 600 gms of split beans(beley)
this beley is powdered, chicori added and sold in markets.(1kg beley needs 175gms chicori-more the chicori stronger ur filter coffee!)

Market:
in the late 90's coffee rate per bag went as high as Rs.4500 per bag for arabica and Rs.3500 for robesta.
Now its around Rs.1500 per bag of robesta.
Its a cycle of 10 years where coffee prices rise and fall (with corresponding fall and rise of prices in the international(read Brazil) markets).
