This time about how rowdy Oil Kumar got his name.
Kumar owned 8 petrol bunks around Bangalore . The petrol coming into city was then ( late 70s - early 80s ) unloaded first in Banaswadi and then sent out to various bunks around the city. Rather obviously when liquid gold transactions happen they are never clean. So our Kumar dude, used to fill 8 odd tankers with kerosene and go empty them during wee hours of the night to this main station at Banaswadi where then this kerosene was mixed with the petrol that had just come in . In exchange he got same amount of petrol- suffice to run the 8 bunks he owned .
Hence his rowdy name - OIL Kumar.
