Being there, doing it all

The need for validating events in your life is scary. Its come to such a stage that everytime I get happy there is a thought in my careful head that if I should be recording this moment.
Especially now when I am studying business, and your past achievements matter, the requirement to get certificates for silliest of reasons is irritating. Who thought 10 years ago that you should get a certificate for playing volleyball?!
And what about clicking pictures of parties, night-outs and other celebrations? There is always one boy who is not a part of the celebs and is content framing the moment.
Anybody wondered about sudden emergence of hobby photographers in good numbers. Every other boy I know is capturing grasshoppers, sunrise and Bangalore weather(!).

Does this point to a behavioural change in a generation? Why are we stacking records of our existence? Is it simply because there are good cameras in the market? Are there fewer happy moments in our lives and we want to capture it ?
